“Abraham is a slow learner; he needs more attention at home.”
Those were the words of my teacher in the third year of my elementary school. Broken and dejected, it marked the beginning of my journey—a journey from academic failure and low self-esteem to academic success and the discovery of purpose, impacting not only my life but thousands of others around the globe.
After graduating with a first-class degree, I was told to ‘settle down and build my career.’ Yet, I felt lost, navigating life with ambitions but lacking a clear dream. The typical checklist of jobs, marriage, assets, and children felt incomplete. I craved more—more impact, more influence, more income. The question lingered: “What’s the big picture?”
April 12th, 2011, became my second birthday, the day I discovered why I was born. Clarity about my purpose shifted me from survival mode to significance. Armed with purpose, I navigated life’s complexities, choosing the right courses, career paths, and relationships. I even found my life partner, Sarah, a gift from God in the midst of the journey.
